Alongside these they sing madrigals by his contemporary <strong>Thomas Morley</strong>, together with present-day responses and reflections on his music, culminating in the dramatic and moving <em>Song</em> by <strong>Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen</strong>, based on Dowland&#8217;s famous <em>Flow my tears</em>.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Join EXAUDI for the launch of their brilliant new recording <strong>&#8216;Chromatic</strong> <strong>Renaissance&#8217;</strong> which has been delighting critics and audiences alike. The disc focusses on the more radical vocal works of the 16th century, when composers experimented with extremes of chromatic harmony and tonal dissonance, culminating in the extraordinary microtonal pieces written by the Italian madrigalist and theorist, Nicola Vicentino.</p>
<p>Includes works by: <strong>Lassus</strong>, <strong>de Rore</strong>, <strong>Lusitano</strong>, <strong>Vicentino</strong>, <strong>Luzzaschi</strong> &amp; <strong>Marenzio</strong></p>
